Admissions Process

The International Trading Institute’s Master’s in Trading program is highly competitive, with limited seats available. We seek dedicated professionals ready to become future trading leaders, equipped with the skills and expertise to excel in the fast-paced world of professional trading.

The first step is to complete the online initial application form to express your interest and reserve your spot in the founding cohort.

Meet with an admissions advisor

After submitting the initial application, schedule a consultation to discuss your learning objectives and trading goals.

Complete full application

Submit your CV, an essay detailing your career goals and how ITI’s Master’s program aligns with them.

Admissions interview

All applicants will go through an interview process and the admissions committee will consider both the program application and the interview when making their admissions decision. The admissions committee meets every two weeks and applicants will be notified promptly of their decision.

05.

Confirm attendance & pay deposit

Upon acceptance, applicants will need to confirm their attendance and pay the deposit necessary to hold their place on the course.

Admissions Requirements

At the International Trading Institute, we understand the importance of clarity, collaboration, and communication when embarking on any new initiative. Here are the key steps to follow to apply to participate in the 2025 class of our Master’s in Trading Program:

Undergraduate degree

Successful Master’s candidates should have received a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Completed application form

Complete and submit the online application form.

Trading experience

All applicants should have three or more years of trading experience in at least one asset class and an active trading account.

Complete an essay of intent

All applicants should submit an essay detailing their trading experience and their trading aspirations, including how ITI’s program fits into them.

Why should I apply early?

Applying early increases your chances of securing a spot in our highly selective cohort. Early applicants receive priority consideration, access to early scholarships and exclusive benefits, including bonus live sessions with industry mentors.

How selective is the admissions process?

Our Master’s in Trading program is highly competitive, with limited seats available. We seek individuals who are serious about advancing their trading careers and are ready to become future leaders in the industry.

What happens after I submit my application?

After submitting your initial application:

  • You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your submission and outlining the next steps.
  • Our admissions team will review your initial application to ensure it meets the program’s requirements.
  • Qualified applicants will be invited to complete the full application, which includes: submitting your CV/resume and writing a personal essay about your career goals and how ITI’s Master’s program aligns with them.

After completing the full application:

  • You will schedule an interview with the Program Director to discuss your goals and suitability for the program.
  • Our Admissions Committee will carefully review your application materials and interview feedback.
  • Once the Committee has evaluated your application, we will communicate our acceptance decision and guide you through the next steps to confirm your place in the program.

When will I hear back about my application?

You will be contacted within a week to schedule an admissions interview with the Program Director or with an update in the event that more information is required. After you have completed your admissions interview, your application will be sent to the admissions committee for evaluation. Our committee meets weekly and you will be informed of the committee’s decision within 10 days.

What are the next steps if I’m admitted?

Once admitted:

  • You’ll receive an official offer letter and details about how you can accept your spot.
  • A deposit will be required to secure your place in the program.
  • You’ll also receive information on orientation, onboarding, and preparatory resources.

Is an interview part of the admissions process?

Yes, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your background, goals, and interest in the program.

What happens if I am waitlisted?

Seats on this program are limited. If you’re waitlisted:

  • We’ll keep you updated on your status.
  • If a spot becomes available, we’ll contact you immediately.
  • You’re encouraged to confirm your continued interest in the program to help us prioritize candidates.

What should I do if my application is unsuccessful?

If your application is not accepted:

  • We encourage you to review our admissions criteria and reapply next year.
  • You can also request feedback on your application to improve your chances for the future.

Are scholarships or financial aid available?

Can I defer my admission if I’m unable to attend this year?

Yes, admitted students will receive a pre-program package that includes reading materials and assignments to help prepare for the coursework. These resources will be shared after you confirm your spot.
