Biography
Carol started on The London International Futures Exchange LIFFE in 1982. After a year she was hooked and became a strategic trader for JH Rayner trading 30 years Bonds markets. Shortly after she was headhunted by Midland Bank who pushed the largest volume on LIFFE at that time. After 2 years she was asked to be a part of a startup department of trading Technically only and in a very short time that team were the number 1 desk money making team. This lead to an opportunity with the Nomura Bank start-up in London, after which she moved to the technical trading desk at Credit Suisse, where she stayed for 6 years. In 1996 Carol leased a seat on LIFFE where she traded her own money and was also put in charge of 20 traders to give them technical signals. It was then that she started to produce reports for other traders in the form of CharmerCharts. In 2008 she was asked to work in Gibraltar advising traders where markets were going. After a short time, she decided to quit Gibraltar and work for herself from home.
At that time, Carol noticed the rise of the retail platforms and how this lead to major losses for many new traders who had no experience trading. She made it her mission to try and educate the retail market. Carol engaged in running seminars and webinars virtually all over the world and realized she loved the interaction with people, and enjoyed watching them grow in confidence by the end of the course.
